Ladies Section @ MDGC

We welcome ladies of all ages and abilities - our thriving, friendly section offers a great mixture of social and competitive golf. We have regular 18-hole and 9-hole competitions on Tuesdays and offer an alternative Sunday to suit busy lives. 

Our ladies participate in competitive matches outside of the club too and have enjoyed recent success in both the Shropshire Handicap League and the County Mini League.  Friendly matches with other clubs are also very popular, giving ladies the opportunity to play other courses and widen their circle of golfing friends.

The list of regular activities includes social events, club nights, roll ups, and group lessons with the Professional. We also offer Taster and Get into Golf sessions and have an active Junior Section with weekly coaching sessions.  New members are introduced to our buddy scheme to help ensure that you quickly settle in and enjoy all the benefits membership has to offer.

Market Drayton was one of the first clubs to sign up to the Women in Golf Charter to encourage more women and girls to thrive in the game.  A copy of our Charter can be found here.
