Lockdown may be forcing many to toil from home but our ground staff are hard at work on the 12th green.
They are undertaking an important revitalisation to improve drainage on this low-lying area of the course.
Despite playing on one of the best drained courses in the county, it is true to say, in wetter periods the lower section of this green gets waterlogged and is unplayable.
This has been causing major issues with grass growth and making maintenance very difficult, if not impossible.
Seen here are Simon Cotterill and his team tackling the task using heavy machinery and good old fashion manpower. (Three pictures by Hilary Taylor)
