During lockdown a number of members have been helping out around the course.
While some ground staff have been busy undertaking important drainage work on the 12th green, members have been tackling various tasks.
These include gardening around the clubhouse, leaf collection, clearing drainage channels, mole catching, clearing leaves around the tees and greens, grass trimming and much, much more.
Chair of Greens Keith Parsons has been organising the work in consultation with head greenkeeper Simon Cotterill, assisted by his partner Ingrid Aitken who has been running a careful eye over health and safety while the work has been carried out.
Keith says that there's still scores of tasks and the more volunteers we get, the more we can tackle. Those who are interested in getting out on the course, without their clubs, should come along on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am to 1pm.
